Mexican Hat to Jacobs Lake - 240 miles
Yesterday's bad day is only a fleeting memory. After the Lux girls we rode through hours of rock formations. Then we reached Glen Canyon Dam that creates Lake Powell. It is 300 miles upriver from the Hoover Dam at Las Vegas. We took the tour to get some AC in the desert. It was the best dam tour I ever took.

After that we headed from the high desert of Arizona to the high pine forests. As we carved turns over the ountains the emperature steadily fel from 102 degrees to a cool 74 degrees in the shade. Grand Canyon tomorrow.
