Mac and I left before the rest because I’m fed up with Kevin’s unilateral decision making. Mostly because the decisions are no good. Two nights this week he’s had us riding on questionable roads in the dark due to bad planning. Our safety is jeopardized because Kevin makes plans without proper thought. Wanker.
Anyway Mac and I stopped at the Equator for photos and then got to Quito. It is a large capital city at 9000 feet. Our hotel name and address were difficult to locate. I asked as we rode thru town. Usually I just ask the guy in the car next to me at a light. Once we got close I asked a cop on a motorcycle. He said to follow him. He brought me to the police station, called the hotel and then escorted us to the hotel. We took his picture with the Suzuki and he wanted to know everything about our travels. They know their motorcycles down here.
