This motoquest blog is intended to chronicle the ramblings of my 5 month, 22,000 mile motorcycle journey from Prudhoe Bay, Alaska to Ushuaia, Argentina. That's as far as the road goes in North America to the tip of South America.

In order to minimize the frivolousness of this endeavor the trip will be used to fund research for Multiple Sclerosis (MS). MS researchers are on the verge of finding a cure. With your help this chronic and debilitating disease could be conquered in the next decade. I have set up a direct link to the National MS Society under the name 'Motoquest' where donors can make contributions. All money will go directly to the MS Society, and none to me or my trip.

For those interested in making a donation based on the number of miles completed here is what to do.
If I complete the entire 22,000 miles and you have pledged:
$0.001/mile your donation would be $22.00
$0.002/mile your donation would be $44.00, and so on.
Pledge an amount you are comfortable with, make a $10.00 initial donation, and then sometime in mid-December I’ll report how much of the trip was completed. You can then go back to the link above and donate any balance due based on your pledged amount per mile.
