15th Century Monastery in the heart of town. The ride here was not too spectacular. Mostly just Pan Am. Mac and I cruised alone at a nice pace. We stopped for gas once and coffee three times. Each time we were swarmed by people wanting to know about the bikes, our trip, and us. We stopped at a gas station in Popayan to get directions to our hotel. Kevin had not given us any. I asked the guy pumping gas and as he was telling me the guy in the car said ‘follow me I’ll take you there’. He drove to the hotel and we followed him. This has happened to us many times in Latin America. I don't remember it ever happening in North America
